Carboxymethylcellulose is resistant to the polyvalent metal salts, in particular magnesium salts. Temperature resistance up to 130°C.

Cellulose ether, a semi-synthetic polymer with anionic properties. It is one of the most effective chemicals that reduce the filtration of various water dispersion drilling fluids. Usually occurs in the form of a cream-colored powder or granules. Carboxymethylcellulose is resistant to the polyvalent metal salts, in particular magnesium salts. Temperature resistance up to 130°C.
