Supporting atherosclerosis and osteoporosis therapy, supports the function of ostocalcin - a protein that binds and transfers calcium in the bones and a protein called MGP present in the blood vessels . This vitamin helps maintaining bone density within normal limits and reduces the frequency of bone fractures.

Vitamin K2 is a compound synthesized by intestinal flora bacteria. It is therefore supplied with products of animal origin as well as in fermented soybeans. Vitamin K2 is in fact a whole group of compounds collectively named as “menaquinones” or the abbreviation “MK-n”, where n indicates the number of unsaturated isoprenoid residues at C3 carbon (from 1 to 13). Noteworthy in particular is vitamin K2 in the form of MK-7 (menaquinone-7). Appearance: light yellow powder.
