Lemon Essential Oil – It is obtained from the peel and fruit of lemons by cold pressing or by distillation. It is colorless to yellow in color and has a characteristic lemon scent. The dominant component of the oil is limonene. Lemon oil is used in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industries, but also at home.
