Coalescent Agents
- water-based architectural paints (wall, interior, facade)
- acrylic plasters, primers
Coalescing agents – coalescents- are responsible for lowering the MFFT (minimum film formation temperature) and help form a uniform coating, without cracks or localized defects. They improve the durability and rheology of paints and plasters. Typical coalescents are: ester alcohols, esters and glycol ethers.
