Buriti oil

Buriti oil is rich in fatty acids, especially oleic acid, which helps to restore the skin’s protective hydro-lipid barrier. It can be used in body creams and lotions, soaps and bath oils. It is also used in preparations for the treatment of the scalp. Studies have shown that the addition of 5% buriti oil to the conditioner improved the resistance of chemically dyed hair fibers. Due to the high content of beta-carotene, it can be used in sunscreen formulations and sunscreen products before and after sunbathing.
