N-Methylpyrrolidone,
N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone

Application: solvent for lithium-ion battery production, removal of paints and coatings, cleaning of electronic and semiconductor parts, equipment washing, solvent in the petrochemical industry, applying a thin layer of polymer to a surface.

NMP is a polar aprotic, a low toxicity solvent. NMP is used in industry: lithium-ion batteries, semiconductors, LCD cables, ducated wafers, insulating materials. It is used in paints, in the coating process, in polymers as a solvent and in pesticides, as well as in the petrochemical industry.
