It is responsible for the transmission of electrons in the respiratory chain. After connecting the electrons, it moves freely within the internal mitochondrial membrane, allowing the transport of electrons between respiratory chain protein complexes that are built into the internal mitochondrial membrane.
Effect and application: circulatory failure, ischemic heart disease, hypertension, arteriosclerosis, parodontosis, certain muscle diseases, type II diabetes, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease.
